WHAT A COVER, GIRL! - A host of female singers who live in Parkdale, including Beverly Taft (and guest guitarist) - Friday June 14 - 201 Cowan, south of Queen in the church - 7 - 10 pm admission by donation This great neighbourhood event, started by Lori Yates at the 5th annual Parkdale Then & Now Festival has been resurrected (after a one-year hiatus) by local singer Katharine Hume. Parkdalian singers (who also happen to be female) each sing two "covers", ranging from pop and folk tunes to jazz standards and world music.
